5 Days Of November gig

Leather jacket - New look; Dress - Topshop; Boots - Topshop; Bag- Topshop;Ring - Topshop

This week has been so busy, and has literally exhausted me. So what better way to treat my tiredness than to go out! Last night was a friends birthday and tonight i'm going to a local concert/gig - called 5 Days Of November. They have recently launched their EP and were played on radio one the other day, so check them out!
This is what i will be wearing tonight (minus the bag, but it is new and i wanted to show it off!). The dress is from Topshop and was relatively cheap (£26) and is good for casual or wear it fancy with heels. These are my Chelsea boots which i decided to keep in the end, and my ring which i picked up in the sale for £2.50.

What are you doing tonight?

OOTD

Shirt - Vintage; Coat - Topshop; Necklace - Topshop

Today was one of those days. You're tired, cold and would love just to put you're one-zie on and read your magazine. BUT this was what i wore today! The shirt is my mums which i love; the pattern is so pretty and looks vintage, except the size is tiny! I love wearing actual vintage clothes as it's not just a replicate as you know that no-one else will have it so it makes the outfit seem more special.
Incase you're wondering, yes i'am now in my one-zie, sitting by the radiator reading this:

I love Company; its so inspiring and always has a column on bloggers which is good for tips and new blogs to follow. I defiantly recommend getting a subscription- on a day like today seeing the post literally makes my day!

The Chelsea Boot - yes or no?

Topshop - £62

The chelsea boot looks so nice and adds class to any outfit, and suit so many people. But me. I recently brought these from Topshop after falling in love with them. The only problem? I don't suit them! I never really wear heels, only really high ones for parties etc, so buying this type is going out of my comfort zone! Now, i face a dilemma - i love the boots but not sure if i should keep them!
Any thoughts?!

Visual Studies Project - Fashion Retail

A friend recently asked me to model an outfit for her University fashion course - and these are the final pictures! She is studying fashion retail management, and one of her tasks was to put an outfit together, photograph it, edit and advertise it. As you can see she did it for Dolce & Gabbana. The outfit had to be based on a present trend; she choose Baroque. To fit with the theme, the setting was Chatsworth House - a grand stately home to carry on the medieval theme.

The actual photo shoot was really fun, apart from the fact it was freezing and I was walking around fields in high heels! To make the sides of the dress stick out, we had to attach crisps packets, yes you read right - crisps packets! We had no other way of making them stick out, and these were our last resources (we ate them after, yes.)

So many clothes, so little money

Topshop Wish List
Topshop should be made illegal. I spend way to much time browsing for hours, adding endless items to my bag, and finally falling into a state of depression when i realise i can never afford it. The clothes are just too nice not to gaze longingly at though.
Velvet Velvet Velvet. My new obsession is now velvet - I love it! The knickers and shorts here are gorgeous - I don't know if i would have enough confidence to wear the 'knickers', but i would buy them just to look at! The dress which is also velvet, is so cute; i love anything with collars on as you can probably tell!
In no circumstance would i ever be able to walk in the heels - i can hardly walk in low ones at the best of times so with these i would have to be carried... I can hope.
To have any chance in getting these i will have to smile sweetly at my mum or rob a bank. Either way, i need them!
What is on your winter wish list?

Ring - Topshop Sale £2.50

One word for the topshop sale: Heaven. I picked up this ring for £2.50, reduced from £5. I have wanted it for ages and finalyl got it! To me, it looks so realastic, and i have now convinced myself i have joined the illuminati.

Coat - Topshop; Shirt- Primark; Jumper - New Look; Wet look leggings - Topshop; Boots - Dorothy Perkins; Bag - River Island.

This coat is so warm -  I have to contain by self from constantly rubbing my face against the fur! The fur is detachable which makes the coat versatile, so defiantly a good purchase! The bag looks a bit worn out as i have used it so much (my excuse in buying a new one)!

Cold weather clothes

Jumper - Topshop; Shirt - H&M; Bag - River Island; Necklace - Topshop; Shoes - New Look

It's that time of the year where the thermals come out in an effort to reduce the risk of frostbite. I now have to plan my outfits around my thermals - if a top doesn't cover a thermal then it doesn't make the cut. Luckily, i have lots of tops that lend themselves to arctic conditions and plenty of short sleeve thermals (my mums purchases, not mine). This outfit isn't at all special, but is perfect for lazy and freezing days. In case your wondering, yes, i do have a thermal underneath!

Cute Collars

Collar Tips - Ebay; Cream shirt - Primark; Pink Shirt - Vinatge

I love this seasons trend of shirts and collars, they can make any outfit look cute, vintage, smart/causal. Therefore, I am wearing my shirts way too much - so to make them look different each time, I brought these collar tips. You can buy lots of different styles of eBay for little cost - mine cost £2 for two pairs. They can finish the outfits of and make them look different to someone else's.

decisions decisions decisions

Both from Topshop

Now that we have winter in October, i was in desperate need of a new coat! The only problem? I cant decide which one to keep. This is a daily occurrence for me; I am the most indecisive person you will find - I wouldn't be able to make up my mind if my life depended on it. So i need your help in choosing! The navy would be good for smartish occasions but the red is more suitable for daily wearing. However the red can make me look like Mrs. Santa Claus/ too wintery! They both cost the same - £75 (60 with student discount) so that doesn't affect my choice.

Any ideas?!

We all need a leather jacket in our lives

Leather Jacket - New Look; Shirt - Primark; Skirt - Handmade; Necklace - Topshop; Boots - Dorothy Perkins
Made the skirt myself when I was in serious need of money and clothes, but turned out to be one of my favourite item of clothes! They are really easy to make, if anyone would like to know how, i will upload instructions! Leather jackets go with most outfits so you will soon find out that I wear it a lot!

October Wish List

These are just a few things i need from Topshop - I need more money first. The heels, i probably wouldn't be able to walk it, but they look amazing so i would just have to stand still and let people admire them instead! The dress is only £26 but could be worn as a skirt as-well, if worn with a knitted jumper or shirt on top so would be pretty versatile. The studded top looked amazing on the model and goes with the A/W12 trend but is pretty expensive for what it is - but this is Topshop we're talking about! This is me hoping some one will come and buy me all these - you can tell i like to wish high!
